Citrus Angel Hair with Grape Tomatoes and Basil

Ingredients:
  • 1/2 box angel hair pasta
  • 1 carton grape tomatoes
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • zest of 1 lemon
  • large bunch fresh basil
  • olive oil
  • fresh ground black pepper
  • parmesan cheese

Procedure:

While pasta is cooking, cut grape tomatoes into halves. Cut basil leaves into thin strips and finely mince garlic. Heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet and add garlic and tomatoes. Sauté for 1 minute. Add pasta to skillet and stir in lemon zest, lemon juice, 3/4 of the basil. Remove from heat and plate. Season with pepper and sprinkle with basil and parmesan cheese.
